SAP Consultant

SAP Consultant with Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and perform complex solution feasibility studies of the SAP S4 Hana projects, SAP SuccessFactors project process technical design reviews, serve as SAP Functional Consultant and support respective managers from a technology point of view for all projects.
  • Collaborate with business, HR, and technical teams to ensure test coverage aligns with business processes and compliance requirements.
  • Analyse user stories, requirements & develop test scenarios & test cases.
  • Support batch and real-time integration testing across SAP SuccessFactors EC, Employee Central Payroll (ECP), and third-party systems.
  • Recommend process improvements for test automation, test management tools, and payroll validation efficiency.
  • Assist in building a reusable testing framework for future SAP ECP migrations or enhancements.
  • Design User training for enhancements/ Implementations and mitigating defects/bugs raised by test team to deliver stable build to the Stakeholders.
  • Explore and design SAP latest cutting-edge technologies and other related embedded software across client's overall SAP solution engagement.
  • Assist with the Business team engagement and communication as required.
  • Provide weekly status to Workstream Leadership.
  • Facilitate working sessions with Business users during User acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles in executing scripts and capturing issues.

Skills / Knowledge required:

  • 5+ years of SAP SuccessFactors ECC & S/4 HANA.
  • Strong understanding of Employee Central (EC) to Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or SAP ECC Payroll integrations.
  • Should be expert in SuccessFactors processes with proven full cycle SAP implementation or multiple roll out projects and associated deliverables.
  • Should have in-depth experience in Business Process reengineering and Process optimizations in critical Payroll integrations areas and provide effective solutions to clients.
  • Good understanding of data migration, test data masking, and cloning techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for large data set manipulation and validation.
  • Knowledge in Azure Dev Ops (ADO).
  • Great team player in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented, should possess excellent ability to understand complex business processes and help teams to solve critical problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal business partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage key relationships between stakeholders involved in an upgrade/implementation environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, time management, facilitation, and process leadership skills.
  • Maintain a positive work environment through collaboration & conflict resolution.

Work location is Portland, ME with required travel to client locations throughout USA.
